I love the whole process of directing: collaborating with actors and designers; investigating text; slowly building a world.
I had the privilege of training at NIDA Australia’s premiere theatre school whose distinguished alums include Baz Luhrman, Cate Blanchett, Judy Davis and more.
I ran a small theatre company, commissioned writers, devised new work, and directed shows, including the Australian premiere of Christopher Durang’s Laughing Wild.
Playwrights work with me to support the development of their unique voice.

Specific, versatile, fun, serious
I began acting as a teen in Sydney, continued my training at The Independent School of Theatre (alum Nicole Kidman) and worked until I discovered directing. I returned to acting when I re-encountered the Psychology of Movement training through The Yat/Bentley Centre for Performance where I now teach. I am an ensemble member at Aviva Arts.
